I've never been to a gym before. What do I do?
Our gym is supervised by a gym trainer during all peak times and is designed to be a welcoming and inclusive space for people of all fitness levels.
All members have access to free fitness consultations as part of their membership. During consultations, a qualified gym trainer will listen to and understand your individual goals before creating a personalised exercise plan.
After consultation, the gym trainer will show you how to use equipment safely, and how to choose appropriate weights.
You can meet with the trainer every few months to check how you're going. This is an opportunity to update your plan to help you get results.
Casual users can request a fitness consultation and program for an extra cost.
Can I bring a friend who is a personal trainer to help me?
No, access is for an individual user only.
We have qualified gym trainers that can assist with equipment and exercise demonstrations.
We also offer free fitness consultations to members and a Personal Training service.
Can I bring my physiotherapist to help me?
We allow allied health professionals to attend with their clients to show them through a program.
The allied health professional must:
- pay the Casual Gym entry fee for any visit
- present at Customer Service with the member/client for access to the gym.
