Transport
Support
- You may bring a carer or support worker.
- Companion and Carer cards are accepted at both our centres.
- When you arrive, speak with our customer service team at reception. If you are a member, scan your card at the turnstiles for quick entry.
Centre environment
- Accessible changerooms are available on the ground floor and level 1 at Mordi.
- Our reception area can be quiet or busy, depending on the time of day.
- Amenities may be busy, and you may have to wait at certain times of day.
- Flooring surfaces in the aquatic areas are slip-resistant; however, they can be wet, and some have gradients.
- From time to time, we host special events that may include loud music and flashing lights.
- At times, our centres can be noisy. If the noise is affecting you, it may help to find a quiet space outside. At Mordi Aquatic Centre, try walking the trail to Jack Grut Reserve. Near Waves Leisure Centre, there are three ovals at Highett Reserve, a short walk along Turner Road.
- Signage throughout our centres is written in English.
