Missed lessons
If your child needs to miss a lesson, please email us to register the absence at waves.lts@kingston.vic.gov.au.
General absence
The absence must be registered via (03) 9559 7111 or waves.lts@kingston.vic.gov.au before the missed lesson.
A guest pass can be issued for up to 2 absences per child, per term. The guest pass can be used for the below services and has a 3-month expiry from the date of the missed lesson:
- family/group swim (4 people, max 2 adults)
- spa/sauna/steam room visit
- group fitness class (pre-booking required for aqua classes)
- gym visit.
We do not offer make up lessons. If a child is unable to attend a scheduled class, an adult may use any of the above services, irrespective of the initial value price.
Medical absence
If your child is unwell, please do not send them to their lesson.
The absence must be registered via calling us on (03) 9559 7111 or send us an email at waves.lts@kingston.vic.gov.au before the missed lesson.
To apply for a credit, a medical certificate must be provided, and we offer a maximum of 4 lesson credits per child, per term. For longer absences, the Learn to Swim team can advise best options.
To request a credit, please complete the medical credit form. Approved credits will be applied to your Learn to Swim account and can be used toward upcoming direct debit payments or future swimming lessons.
Refunds
Refunds are available for some medical reasons, provided a medical certificate has been supplied.
Refunds are not issued for any general absences.
