Reformer Pilates terms and conditions

Entry to Kingston’s Aquatic & Leisure facilities is subject to our Terms & Conditions

As Premium Wellness memberships allows access and use of our Reformer Pilates studio, specific Reformer Pilates terms and conditions apply to this membership in addition to the standard membership terms and conditions.

Induction

Members acknowledge the requirement to complete a Reformer Pilates induction prior to any use. This induction includes agreeing to the terms and conditions and watching the induction video. Any use of the Reformer Pilates studio acknowledges full understanding and agreement to this.

Personal health 

Members must provide any health information prior to participating in any session and ensure information conveyed complete and accurate. Members should not participate in Virtual Reformer Pilates if you have an injury, illness, medical condition, or any other concern that may affect your ability to exercise safely. If you are uncertain about your suitability for exercise, you should seek medical advice before participating.

Equipment

Members are responsible for using all equipment correctly and in accordance with any instructions provided. Grip socks must be worn during all Reformer Pilates sessions. Please bring a towel and water bottle to each session. If you are unsure how to perform an exercise safely, discontinue the movement and seek guidance from a qualified instructor during your next supervised class.

Access

A Premium Wellness membership must be held to access Reformer Pilates, including virtual and instructor-led classes. Members are to complete a minimum of three (3) reformer Pilates instructor led classes prior to using completing any virtual sessions. Virtual Reformer Pilates will only be accessible outside of face-to-face classes and during staffed hours, subject to availability.

Participation in Virtual Reformer Pilates involves inherent risks, including the risk of physical injury. As these sessions are completed without direct instructor supervision, the Centre is unable to monitor your exercise technique, physical condition, or surrounding environment. By participating, you confirm that you are physically capable of undertaking the activity, have appropriate knowledge of equipment and have sought appropriate medical advice where required.

Conduct

All participants must comply with facility rules, signage, and staff directions to maintain a safe and respectful environment. Kingston Aquatic & Leisure management reserve the right to deny access, suspend participation, or terminate memberships where behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, abusive, damaging to property, or involves the use of illegal substances.
